First Day of Autumn at Hid’n Pines!
It’s the first day of Autumn (fall, l’automne) here at Hid’n Pines Family Campground. The leaves are barely starting to change, it took a few minutes of walking around to find a colorful leaf. Summer hung on through the past few weeks (I’m not sure if anyone minds the delay!). This is the first week of cooler temperatures, much of September felt more like July! Maine weather is funny that way. We heard from a lot of campers via Facebook that they wished we were open after Labor Day, and we’ll agree that this month was filled with perfect camping conditions! We hope you’re enjoying our latest “around the campground” photos we’ve been posting.
We thoroughly enjoyed the 2015 season and thank everyone that stayed with us at Hid’n Pines. It’s such a joy to see familiar faces each summer. We may be closed, however, our staff is working hard each day to prepare for the 2016 summer season. Now that fall is here, so we are in the process of renovating our restroom building #2 (near sites 173 and 186). We’re very excited about the changes and improvements there. We love hearing your feedback regarding the cleanliness of our restrooms on Trip Advisor, we hope that you’ll enjoy the new facelift on restroom building #2 as well!
We’re planning out our camping show schedule, and are adding a new stop in Moncton RV Show in Moncton, New Brunswick this coming March! We plan to embark on a fun photography project at Hid’n Pines starting in October: a photo a day in a chosen spot of the campground over the course of the fall, winter, and spring. It will be exciting to see the changes over the next few months in the same spot! Stay tuned for more information on that.
Our office is still open from 8AM to 4PM for seasonal camping inquiries and advanced reservations. Keep in touch with us if you have any questions this fall or winter!
